Remote Proposal Submission System

Browser settings

Browser requirements:
For best results use the latest version of Internet Explorer, Navigator or Mozilla Firefox. The browser must be able to translate JavaScript and be Java compatible (only for navigation tree use).

Cache
Using caching on XRPS will cause problems with information not being updated. See below or click here for details.

Special Issues for Netscape Users
Please beware that if the Netscape browser is resized/maximised the current page is re-loaded. In the case of the XRPS, the whole frameset is reloaded. If you have filled in a form without actually comitting, a re-size would actually cause the page to reload and therefore you would loose all the data you have entered.

Do not use the browser's Back Button
Do not use the browser's back button as this can modify the content of your proposal. If you find yourself in a "lost" position, reload the whole proposal starting at the first page of the XRPS system.

Frames
This web site makes use of tables and frames to organise the information content correctly. Do not break out the frame set. This could result in not being able to view the proposal correctly.

Screen Resolution
Results are best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024x768. If you can only manage a 800x600 resolution then a fair amount of frame resizing will be required.

Be Patient!
This site can take a few seconds to update pages and frames so don't click anything until the browser has finished downloading all the information.

Avoid daily backups time
Please be aware that every day from 02:00 to 02:30 GMT, your data is backed up and the XRPS service is interrupted during this period. Unfortunately, it is not possible for XRPS to warn connected users before shutting down the service.
